Items to be aware of:
- Hall of Flags event is serving dual purpose: honoring outgoing ED, Maryalice Crofton as well as the Commitment to Service Ceremony. The event now happens to fall on a day when the Legislators are on break, which may impact attendance.
- There are no written communications plans or guides. Would recommend dedicating some time to developing these for operational sustainability.
- We do not have information on new partnership with Department of Labor on apprenticeship pathways for service members posted on the website.
Major focus of effort for the next month:
- Organizing the National and Community Service Day at the Hall of Flags event on March 13th
- Creating survey for the MOCA Communications and AV team
- Developing an updated newsletter format
- Assisting the GSA committee, summarizing nominations and further planning event logistics, promotions and outreach to special guests
- Overhaul of the MVF website at the direction of ED
