Major projects completed:
- Financial monitoring letters sent out to AmeriCorps programs and all requested information was delivered by March 15, except for Alfond Youth Center
- Participated in the Commission Civic Engagement (monthly meeting that will end in April)
- Attended ASC’s Fiscal Officer training
- Created a match waiver request form in OnCorps for the current 2020-2021 fiscal year
- Assisted with the AmeriCorps Member Conference
- NSCHC certification acquired from the Federal Agency
- Attended and participated in the DOE’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training
- Continued an ongoing review and process of Periodic Expense Reports (PER’s), Periodic Income Reports (PIR’s), Aggregated Financial Reports (AFR’s) and Grantee Progress Reports (GPR’s) along with corresponding reimbursement requests
- Contract amendments made on behalf of Game Loft in order to transfer a TQT member slot and funding increase
- Slot change for MEAP and Learning Works
- Multiple training sessions with Alfond Youth Center staff for financial reporting, and grantee progress reports
- Review of Q4 GPR’s for rural programs and Maine Conservation Corps
Issues to be aware of:
- Alfond Youth center has not sent in the financial documents as requested despite multiple attempts to communicate to them, there has been no response
- CNCS new final rule about National Service Criminal History Checks for grantees and AmeriCorps members takes effect May 1.
Major focus of effort for the next month:
- Tech review with the GTF for continuations and new subgrantees
- Preparing necessary data for the Federal Financial Report due at the end of April
- Continuation of the financial monitoring of all operational subgrantees
- Continued an ongoing review and process of Periodic Expense Reports (PER’s), Periodic Income Reports (PIR’s), Aggregated Financial Reports (AFR’s) and Grantee Progress Reports (GPR’s) along with corresponding reimbursement requests
