Major projects completed:

 

  • Reviewed grant applications in eGrants for continuations and new proposals and assisted AmeriCorps Program Directors with necessary corrections and processes
  • Assisted AmeriCorps Program Directors with updated exit protocols for AmeriCorps members under compelling personal circumstances due to Covid-19
  • Attended 2020 Points of Light Conference at the beginning of June
  • Attended the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group
  • Set up and processed contract for Katie Klein who is currently assisting the GO with an AmeriCorps Program Director resource library
  • Grants Task Force tech scoring for meeting concerning new applications (GPCOG & MDF); managed consensus calls
  • Facilitated New Grantee Training Session IV: Performance Management, Timelines, Outcomes & Outreach on August 26, 2020
  • Meeting with TO & Dan Varley from OnCorps about data collection functions for the Grantee Progress Reports
  • Attended ASC Training Officer Learning Call which covered Program Orientation during Covid-19
  • Sent out pre-award letters along with the two authorization forms necessary to create contracts for new sub-grantees, and for continuations
  • Assisted Healthy Acadia PD with citizenship verification issues in eGrants and discussed and approved their expansion into Somerset County
  • Review and approval of Grantee Progress Reports (GPR’s) in OnCorps for the
  • Set up new programs and other basic data in the 2020-2021 year in OnCorps
  • Virtual Conference with member for MPES, remotely serving in Alaska to discuss options of service due to pandemic forcing relocation, the MPES Program Director was also in communication with the GO about the status of this member (and a few others)
  • Maine AmeriCorps Virtual Recruitment Fair for five programs currently recruiting, with VM Communications Officer

Issues to be aware of:

  • KVCAP has been working with the GO for a resolution regarding a member that served but was not properly enrolled, we are in process of drafting an appeal to CNCS
  • Mid-Coast Conservancy no longer has an AmeriCorps program as August 8, 2020 and is currently in the process of closing out 

Major focus of effort for the next month:

  • Attending the CNCS Symposium (to be held virtually)
  • Preparing AmeriCorps Program Directors for the Virtual Recruitment Fair set to be held in October
  • Review of all GPR’s for all Quarters to be able to report up to CNCS
  • Inventory of any delinquent financial reporting as the FFR is due at the end of October
