Items to be aware of:

  • Staff are sometimes unaware of how some of their KPIs are counted, relying on ED for quantifying work throughout the year.
  • January will almost always be an extremely busy month for the PIO given the EOY report due to the Legislature. Tasks need to be adjusted to fit this focused effort.

Major focus of effort for the next month:

  • Assuming tasks assigned by outgoing ED to aid in the transition process and allow for continuation of activities while new ED is sought
  • Assisting GSA Event Committee with Promotion of the event on April 26th, soliciting nominations for volunteer awards
  • Organizing the National and Community Service Day at the Hall of Flags event on March 13th
  • Leading MOCA Communications and AV teams in developing policy and process efficiency for transition to Marquardt
  • Deep dive into evaluating audiences for an ongoing newsletter, looking at past un-subscriptions and designing a format that works best for the kind of information we hope to disseminate to the public
