All the organizational requirements are in some state of completion. The nonprofit application to the IRS is awaiting that federal agency’s response. The MVF board has been advised not to undertake much business until it has errors and omissions insurance. Bids for that are due early May. They’ve also reached out to a development professional and started a conversation about potential funding. MVF members are open to participating in the Commission annual board retreat.
Need to be sure Lori Parham and Barb Wentworth are receiving the notices for Exec.
Agenda items for May 20. Ron and David listed off the known issues. These include filling vacancies, a report from John on the regional meeting, briefing on Service Year Exchange, sharing foundation update, task force reports, and routine business.
