  • Peer reviewers recruited and selected for the Rural RFA competition
  • AmeriCorps Technical Assistance meeting
  • Multiple Life After AmeriCorps meetings for organizing the upcoming Member Conference in October
  • Volunteer Maine staff meetings
  • Meeting with White Pine Program Director to discuss AmeriCorps member exits and enrollment in eGrants
  • Grants Task Force Meeting to discuss the upcoming Rural RFA timeline process
  • Volunteer Maine Commission Retreat (all day event)
  • Two separate AmeriCorps Rural RFA Information Session
  • Check in meeting with the Executive Director about AmeriCorps programs
  • Meeting with new Maine Conservation Corps Executive Director; new staff support
  • Commission business meeting
  • Getting the Procurement Justification Forms through in the Artemis system
  • Meeting with MCC Executive Director to go over the main compliance pieces and reporting expectations of their contract
  • Packing and moving to our new offices in the Marquardt building with MOCA
  • Review of the Member Agreement for Goodwill
  • Published the Rural RFA# 202508124 in the Kennebec Journal
  • Working with the Program Director of Main Street Skowhegan on their slot changes
  • Getting the Contract for Goodwill and White Pine into Advantage to be approved
  • Processing planning grant periodic expense reports and their associated invoices

Items to be aware of:

  • Contracts are being migrated over to MOCA, and it is causing delays in the processing of invoices

Major focus of effort for the next month:

  • Rural RFA process continues (peer review and Grants Task Force review)
  • Contract issued for Formula grants (continuations)
  • Getting invoices sorted out with their new coding
  • Reviewing Grantee Progress Reports in order to report up to the Federal Agency
