Issues to be aware of
- Volunteer Fare pushed to July: Due to the anticipated clearance to share information related to LD 722 and LD 1010, on new Commission leadership team, and the finalization of the Gov. Awards for Service and Volunteerism content, publishing of the June newsletter will be moved to early July. The newsletter will be billed as the "June/July" edition.
- Service Instigator PSA production pivot: In an effort to overcome continued delays in the production of the campaign, the Communications Officer proposed involving Governor's Awards and Roll of Honor recipients in the campaign. The topic will be discussed during the July Communications Task Force meeting.
- Maine Volunteer Foundation Duties: With the departure of the development associate in May, the Communications Officer will continue to handle some of their duties until a replacement is found.
Major focus of effort in the next month
- Laying the groundwork to begin execution of a new Communications Plan, if approved during July Communications Task Force meeting, by August
- Producing episode two of "Issues" before August
