Major projects completed

  • Launched VolunteerMaine.Gov on Dec. 15, 2020 completing the year-long website migration project
    • Collaborated with Maine OIT Enterprise Architecture Team and vendor InforME to migrate content into the State web architecture.
    • Collaborated with Executive Director to migrate CMV course content to new website environment.
    • Solicited feedback and refined areas of the new website.
  • Established terms for Public Education Partnership PSA contract with Maine Association of Broadcasters.
  • Worked with Development Associate to pivot GivingTuesday fundraising campaign into a longer-term fundraiser for the AmeriCorps Member Conference.

Issues to be aware of

  • Life post-website project: Time will be needed to catch-up on additional projects , as much of the Communication work had to be delayed or paused in order to complete the website.

Major focus of effort in the next month

  • Providing guidance to Press and Media subgroup of AmeriCorps Member Conference planning committee.
  • PR around new commissioners.
  • PR around new Program Officer for Sector Initiatives.
  • Helping to execute Commissioner-driven Instagram takeover.
  • Producing new public service announcement campaigns, radio and TV, for 2021.
  • Reviewing attendance and producing AmeriCorps Launch certificates for members.
  • Continuing work with subcommittee in Communications Task Force to integrate behavior change marketing into the plan.
  • Mapping out path to begin resumption of storytelling-focused marketing and communications initiatives. 
  • Capturing recurring event dates and other deadlines to simplify annual planning
