- America The Beautiful Grant: Update. Submitted with 20 host sites for climate corps. This is an 18 month grant. This would allow for Service Fellows coordinator to be an one staff person for support of the fellows.
- Last call on comments for service fellows manual: no comments. Final draft.
- Pilot Launch: starting with the 2 fellows. One must be climate related due to funding. Committee determined that the other fellow would not be required to be working on climate related issues.
- Timeline for application open: after labor day
- Outreach through newsletters, newspapers. The Maine Municipal Association will use their conference in October to promote.
- Volunteers for selection committee: Rebecca Graham, Morgan Reilly and Betsy Fitzgerald have conflict of interest.
