Grant Officer: August 2024

Major projects completed:

  • Review and approval of all compliant fixed amount invoices and periodic expense reports
  • Updated the Purchasing Maine-02314 selection package for the RFA 202403058
  • Setting up site visits for Host Site Supervisor interviews 
  • Monthly AmeriCorps Technical Assistance meeting with subgrantees
  • 21ESFME001 amendment to correct the dates of operation 
  • Peer review process reviewed with the Executive Director
  • Recruited a volunteer to work with the GO with the September 27th commitment to ceremony event
  • Set up peer reviewers in Basecamp and had the orientation meeting 
  • Working with Public Information Officer on a budget for the September event 
  • Orientation and meeting with the new volunteer who will be assisting with the event coordination and planning 
  • Deactivated program directors from the OnCorps system from prior years
  • GTF meeting 
  • Meeting with the commitment to service planning member and volunteer to discuss agenda and expectations for the speaker 
  • Outreach to Community Development Department in Augusta about the September service project following the Blaine House Event 
  • Check in with IPERIA staff about Learning Works 
  • Coding and updating invoices for Maine Pays 
  • Meeting with Senior Staff Accountant about uploading documents in Maine Pays 
  • Outreach to the Blaine House staff about the September event

  • Request of Bio of the Commitment to service speaker for September

  • RFA amendment to 202407139 which is the Maine AmeriCorps Planning grant 
  • DOE/VLC Conference tabling 
  • Meeting with MCC Program Director to discuss upcoming competition and their plans 
  • Reviewed and sent out donor letters for the September event 
  • Writing and editing the RFA for the planning grant
  • Set up registration for the September event 
  • August Technical Assistance meeting in person

  • AmeriCorps 30th Anniversary event at the Blaine House, Friday, Sep 27, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and trail preparations service activities at Bond Brook.

  • Planning is being finalized for the September event 
  • Start of financial and time sheet monitoring
  • Continued processing of office invoices 
  • Planning grant and Rural Operational grant support to the applicants, peer reviewers and the GTF
