Major Projects Underway:
• GSA/Roll of Honor open for nominations closed and winner were selected and notified.
• Roll of Honor Recipients get tickets to the Sea Dogs game on April 20 – Kelsey and Bryan will be tabling there.
• Service Learning training was completed – organizations are receiving coaching and planning for projects.
• Service Enterprise cohort will finished this month. We will be starting a network for organizations to join to help with the certification process after training.
• CMV course has some issues with links and downloading. Kelsey is working to correct those.
• Maine Service Fellows advisory committee meeting: will be meeting this month to look at the complete overview of requirements and application process.
• Kelsey will be taking the CVA test in April.
• VGF continuation came out this month and will be due April 20.
Upcoming Project Focus:
• Need to get training for CERT programs, and recruiting youth organizations for CERT, Kelsey is in talks with FEMA to give an informational and instructional meeting about CERTS.
• Volunteer Generation Fund’s ARP funding has not been announced yet – however we are beginning to strategize how we would apply these funds and which organizations to partner with.
• E&E task force has started planning for Maine Volunteer Leadership Conference in the fall.
