Grants Officer

Major projects completed:

  • Completed risk assessment scoring for each grantee the Commission funds and reported the information out to the Grants Task Force which was shared at the November Commission meeting
  • Meeting with AYCC Program Director along with the VM Program Development and Training Officer, and Lauren Currie, a consultant for VM, to offer more assistance to AYCC’s program operations to ensure compliance and timely reporting
  • Slot conversion completed for the UMaine COA and for Trekkers
  • Travel to Waterbury-Stowe Vermont to complete the State Volunteer and Donation Management Training offered by FEMA, the class was successfully completed
  • Initiated and submitted the amendment #21ES241871 on the prime for ARP funding, and did the same to grant ID: 21ES235858 on behalf of Game Loft
  • Attended and participated in the State Service Commission Civic Reflection discussion for November
  • Completed the Set-up of GPR’s in the new OnCorps year 2021-2022
  • Filed the final Federal Financial Report for Competitive (Learning Works and Healthy Acadia); and filed the Formula FFR at the end of the month
  • Processing of PER’s and reimbursement request for all AmeriCorps programs
  • Close-out completed and sent to the regional PO on behalf of Learning Works and Healthy Acadia
  • Created and processed the Trekkers & GPCOG contract and moved it through State procurement systems to final approval

Issues to be aware of:

  • eGrants has been holding up the funding process for Game Loft, also it is providing erroneous data in the Grantee Progress Reports that must be submitted to the federal agency.

Major focus of effort for the next month:

  • Processing all GPR’s in order to report out to the Federal agency, GPR’s are due at the end of December for Formula and Competitive programs
  • Continued an ongoing review and process of Periodic Expense Reports (PER’s), Periodic Income Reports (PIR’s), Aggregated Financial Reports (AFR’s) and Grantee Progress Reports (GPR’s) along with corresponding reimbursement requests
  • Finish processing any incomplete financial monitoring for AmeriCorps programs
