Volunteer Maine is searching for its next Public Information Officer - that's Communications Manager in the non-govt world. The person should like a job where no two days are the same yet all actions move to a single goal: strengthening volunteer service in Maine so communities are resilient.
This is a job for the person who can write a news story as easily as they tell someone a story; edit copy for a sign as well as sign-up a supporter; fix web code as accurately as fixing the levels of a soundboard. Our PIO is a jack-of-all trades.
